Nurse's Information
If your son or daughter is waiting on COIVD test results, they MUST remain at home until you have the results, even if they are asymptomatic. This is imperative to help minimize the spread of COVID on campus. If your student does test negative kindly send the negative result with your student on the day, they return to school.
If your son or daughter tests positive for COVID, please contact the nurse’s office for the next steps and information on Intermittent School to Home Learning as well as your student’s return to school date.
Learning as well as your student’s return to school date. If you receive an email that your child has been in a classroom with someone who has tested positive for COVID, there is not currently a requirement to have your child be tested or to quarantine. The KatyISD is leaving this up to each individual family. We ask that you monitor your student for any symptoms and have them tested if you see anything out of the normal for your student. (Cough, Headache, Stomachache, Congestion) Please remember that testing too early can result in a false negative, so it is also important to note that testing the same day you receive the email is not always best practice unless your student is symptomatic.
KatyISD is once again, offering free COVID-19 testing to its students at the KatyISD AG Center by appointment only. Appointments can be made on the KatyISD website.
All forms for medication, action plans can be found on the Adams Jr High website. Under the Campus tab and then click the Clinic page.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!!!
