Your Support Makes All the Difference!
In this time of uncertainty, one thing is certain, our school still needs our support. Students and teachers still require resources whether they are participating in-person or remotely. The PTSA provides programs, campus enhancements, and classroom materials. Any amount helps our Viking family!
Our organization is a 501 c3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
Fundraising is how we are able to afford all that we do!
Our PTSA has always been grateful for creative, committed and truly visionary fundraising volunteers. And that's a really good thing because like any organization, in order to pull off amazing programs like the 8th Grade Dance and Red Ribbon Week, we need two things: volunteers and money. We raise funds through a variety of different efforts throughout the year to:
Provide educational speakers and programs which focus on character development, anti-bullying and anti-drug use.
Provide school and classroom needs, such as additional technology and materials requested by the teachers.
Support the faculty and students throughout the year to show appreciation and maintain school pride.
Support Fine Arts at Adams through the Texas PTA Reflections program which celebrates the students’ creativity in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.
Support Watch Dog Dads – bringing fathers and father-figures onto campus to provide a positive influence for the students.
AmazonSmile and Kroger Community Rewards
Funds for our school are earned when our families shop at smile.amazon.com or at Kroger using their plus card. Please check to see if you are enrolled in each of these programs to earn money for Adams Jr. High by choosing our school in the charity list.

We will be scheduling three Spirit Nights throughout the 2020-2021 school year! We love supporting local businesses - and those local businesses love supporting our PTSA's efforts by offering us a percentage of their sales on a specific day. Please mark your calendars! Have fun, dine, and earn money for our school!

Have you heard of spirit wear? Well, we at Adams Jr. High call ours Viking Gear. This year you won't want to miss out on our new designs, including the best-selling hoodie! Our Vikings live in those!
For any questions, please email Brenda at or visit the Spirit Wear tab at the top.
Fun Food Friday
This is a fun lunchtime event that we bring to the school four times per year. Food is brought in from two restaurants which are paid for online ahead of time. The students can then buy chips, candy, and drinks with cash on the Friday. The time and energy it takes to pull this off is phenomenal, and we have the best team out there! Stay tuned for updates on when we can offer this lunch alternative in the future.
For any questions, please email Renee at or visit the Fun Food Friday tab at the top.
Basketball and Volleyball Concessions
We were asked to take on this challenge last year, and we accepted! Providing drinks and snacks during our 7th and 8th grade boys and girls home games was a blast! We hope we will be able to continue during part of this season.
If you ever have any suggestions on how to make our concessions even better, please email Jacki at
Started in 2019 by our executive board, our Viking Heroes program is a way for local business and community members to partner with our PTSA. The program's structure allows these businesses to choose a level of sponsorship that features benefits to their business. Their donation helps us to raise the necessary funds for our programs and support of Adams Jr. High teachers and students.
If you are interested in becoming a Viking Hero, please direct any questions to Karena at or check out the sponsorship letter in the link at the bottom of this page.
